The conference will also feature the 2021 WEDA Economic Development Awards ceremony, celebrating Outstanding Achievements in Economic Development. Awards will be presented for Economic Development Project of the Year (Recruitment & Retention), Advocate of the Year, Emerging Professional and Innovation in Economic Development as well as new awards highlighting best practices in COVID-19 Economic Response & Recovery and Diversity, Equity & Inclusion.
